Fast Weight Loss Story
We as woman tend to always have low self esteem. Having a baby doesn’t help this matter either, feeling chubby, with no energy and no program to help ourselves. Our concentration is all on our new little bundle of joy which it should be. But what if there was a way to get back to the size you were before you gained baby weight? Or a way to drop even more weight than that, which is what I did! So here’s my story I hope it helps you to do the same. If you get your mind in control over your actions and make aplan for yourself, in the end you will look and feel great, probably better than you ever have in your life.
So there I was newly married and had a newborn baby. I felt very lost andvery confused on what to do, on just about every level. I was in control now of what I ate, my husband ate and most of all what my precious baby boy got to eat. Since we didn’t have a lot of extra money for nice formula and bottles, I thought the best way to feed my baby was to breastfeed. In doing so, I knew what I put inside me would come out to my new little one in the breast milk. So I decided to start off seriously eating right. Meaning no junk food, just a lot of fruit, veggies, turkey meat, chicken, brown rice, wheat bread and high fiber foods. I know most of you are probably thinking oh I’ve tried that it doesn’t work, but I am living proof that it does.
For the first 6 wks you cant exercise at all after giving birth so I knew I had to help myself somehow and your diet plan really is 80% or more of your weight-loss. So when I had last been weighed at the Dr I was over 210lbs being pregnant and when I went back to the Dr for my 6 wk check up I was already down to 165 lbs. I still had a ways to go but just by eating right I lost over 40 lbs, that’s impressive.

So I’m 5 ft 2 in and 165 ain’t cutting it for me, every time I sit I have a big roll, my old clothes still are not fitting me but my prego clothes are loose. So what do you do now? You can start exercising!!!! (and seriously ladies this is a true story) It doesnt matter what you have, you CAN make it work. In my situation i had no furniture (no couch, table, or tv) we had a bar and 2 cheap bar chairs we bought at walmart, in our one bedroom apartment. So if I can make it work anyone can!! I started watching dvds I had on working out on my laptop which I sat on top of the bar that faced the living room. And that’s how it all started for me, I knew that every time my son would rest his eyes I could do some sort of exercise and that’s what I did almost every day.
Now I’m 125 lbs in a size 2/4, which in my whole life I never had been below a size 9. It just wasn’t me I was always a thick girl. But once I got it in my head that food I put in my mouth and the amount of physical activities I do every day really matters to how i look, that’s when I started to see a change. Now I can see my knees for the first time in my life, people are actually calling me skinny! And it’s all because I made up my mind that I can do this and I had a picture in my mind a goal of what I wanted to look like and I couldn’t wait to achieve it.
